Will I have to go to court?

You most likely will not have to go to court. The majority of cases are settled outside of court before a lawsuit is officially filed. Even in instances where a case is sued out, a judge will usually force mediation before a jury is selected, giving both parties’ lawyers another chance to settle the case.
