My name is Sandra Berger thank you for watching this little video. I’m here with a few tips on Social Security cases and how to win your Social Security case.

One very good thing to have in the evidence regarding your condition is a form called a Functional Capacity Assessment or an RFC. A Functional Capacity Assessment is a form that is filled out by your doctor that indicates the activity that you’re able to do on a sustained basis. Most doctors will fill these forms out for you and the judge in your social security case will look at this as a very important evidence about what you’re able to do and not able to do in the workplace.

We have these forms available for you and we can either send them to your doctor by us or we can give them to you to take to your doctor. Most doctors are very willing to fill these out; it’s a very short form but it’s a very important piece of information in your case. Would you rather go into a hearing with your doctor saying that you can only lift five pounds versus what you say that you can only live five pounds?

That’s the type of information that’s in a functional capacities assessment form so thank you for listening to this video. Come into our office and let us help you with your social security case. We have other tips and information that we put together for helping our clients receive benefits. We’ve been doing this for thirty years and we feel that we are one of the best in the state. So give us a try, give us a call, we’ll do our very best to help you. Thank you.
